Our office is located at 335/3 in Narayan Kunj Vihar Extension, which is part of the Narmada Nagar area in Bharuch. It is a bit of a trek to get out here sometimes, but it is exactly where we need to be to stay on top of the work we do for the Dahej project. This part of Bharuch is very industrial and focused on growth, so there is always some kind of construction or activity going on nearby. We are a part of the Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals setup that was started with help from the state government. Our building is a simple, functional place, mostly consisting of office rooms and some storage areas for our records. It is not the kind of place that has a big glass front or a fancy lobby to impress people. We have our desks, a few chairs for guests, and plenty of work to keep us busy from morning until night. The Narmada Nagar post office is our main link for sending out mail, and we have grown very used to the local rhythms of this neighborhood. People often come by the office to check on how the projects are going or to deliver supplies we need. It gets a bit dusty outside with all the trucks moving around this part of town, but that is just how it goes here. We just focus on our daily tasks and making sure the paperwork is done correctly.
