Our place is at Plot No. D-2/11-D-2, right in the middle of Gidc-2. Lubrizol Advanced Material India Pvt. Ltd. has been operating out of this site for some time. It is a large plot and we have a lot going on inside the gates. The atmosphere is very much what you would expect from a heavy industrial area. Constant noise from the machines and the transport trucks is part of the deal. Our team is quite diverse, with people doing all sorts of technical and manual jobs. We have a routine that starts early and ends late. The facility itself is quite large, so walking from one end to the other takes a few minutes. Fancy reception areas for visitors aren't really a thing here, just a basic spot to check in. The focus is always on the production line. We deal with a lot of materials throughout the week, so the yard is usually full of stuff waiting to be moved. It’s a practical work environment. The guys wear their safety gear and just get on with it. Sometimes the power flickers or the water supply is a bit slow, but we manage. That’s just part of life in an industrial estate. We aren't trying to impress anyone; we just do our job and keep the site running. It’s been our home for years and we’ve gotten used to the daily grind.
