Being out here in Jhagadia at Plot No. 907/2 means we are right in the middle of the GIDC estate. Eskay Iodine has been operating from this spot for a good bit of time. It’s a large area, and mostly you just hear the sound of machinery and trucks idling. Working with iodine isn't something most people think about, but for us, it’s just the daily routine. We have our setup here, and we spend most of our hours checking the batches and making sure the storage is right. It gets very dusty on the roads around the estate, especially when the wind picks up. The guys on the floor have been with us for a long time, so they know the drill. We aren't trying to be the biggest place out there, just trying to keep the production moving without too many hiccups. Sometimes the power goes out or a delivery is late, and we just have to deal with it. That’s just how it goes in a place like this. We eat our lunch together and talk about whatever is on the news. It’s a plain, hardworking environment. No one wears suits here. We just wear our gear and get the iodine sorted for whoever needs it. It's a simple life at the GIDC, and we are fine with that. We just focus on the next batch.
