Bharat Chemicals

Working out here at Plot No. D-2 Ch 83 in Dahej-II Gidc is a bit of a trek for most of us. It’s a huge industrial zone, and Bharat Chemicals is just one of many spots along the dusty roads. Being near the bus stand means we see a lot of people coming and going, mostly workers and truck drivers looking for directions or a place to grab some water. The air around here always has that heavy industrial smell, and the sun really beats down on the open plots. We spend our time managing the chemical stocks and making sure the containers are handled right. It’s a lot of physical labor and being careful with what we are moving around. Our office is pretty basic, just a place to keep the logs and take a seat when the heat gets to be too much. We don't have any flashy signs or polished floors. It’s more about getting the trucks loaded and the paperwork signed so everyone can get home on time. The dust from the Gidc roads gets on everything, so we are constantly wiping down the desks. It’s a tough environment sometimes, but there is a good sense of community among the people working in this section of Dahej. We just focus on the daily tasks and try to stay out of the way of the big tankers moving through the gates.
