Unique Traders

Unique Traders has been at 96/54 in the Banashankari Extension for some time. It’s a decent area and we like being part of the neighborhood here. Our day usually starts with a tea and then we get right into looking at the inventory. Trading can be a bit up and down depending on the week, so there is always something to worry about. The space is filled with boxes and it feels a bit cramped when a new shipment arrives. We have to move things around just to find a place to sit sometimes. It’s not a polished corporate office, it’s just a workspace where things get done. We know the other shopkeepers around here and we help each other out when we can. Sometimes the street gets blocked by trucks and we have to wait to unload, but that’s just how it goes in Banashankari. We don’t really have a big philosophy or anything. We just buy and sell and try to keep things moving. The fan in the corner makes a bit of a clicking noise but we’ve gotten used to it. It’s a very normal way of working. Most people who come by are just looking for something specific and we do our best to find it in the stacks. We’ve stayed in this spot because it works for us and the local people know where we are. It is just our daily life.
