Candle Plus

We are based in Koramangala, inside the Raheja Arcade at units 144 and 145. It’s a decent area, though parking can be a bit of a nightmare on weekends. We spend most of our time dealing with all kinds of candles. It’s a lot of wax and different scents everywhere you look. The shop isn't huge, but we pack a lot into it. Sometimes the smell of lavender or vanilla gets so strong we have to open the doors for a bit of air. It’s mostly just a few of us here. We spend our mornings checking the stock and getting things ready. It isn't a high-stress environment, which is nice. People come in from the mall area just to look around. We’ve been here for a while and have gotten to know the other shop owners nearby. It’s a friendly bunch. We don't really do much advertising, mostly just people walking by and stopping in. It’s a simple business. We try to keep the shelves tidy, but things get moved around a lot. My cousin helps me out on the busier days. It's funny how a small shop can keep you so busy all day long. We just enjoy the routine of it all, honestly. It’s better than sitting in a cubicle all day. The lights in the back flicker sometimes, but we haven't got around to fixing them yet. Anyway, that is what we do.
