You can find us at Unit No.3 in the House of Lords building on St Marks Road. We are right opposite the State Bank of India, which is a big help for people trying to locate us in Bangalore. The street is always full of people, especially during the bank hours. We have a ground floor spot, so it is easy to just walk in from the sidewalk. We spend a lot of our time dealing with the oven and the smell of baking that fills the whole shop. It is a small space, so we have to stay organized or things get messy very quickly. We don't have any corporate office or big management team. It is just a few of us working behind the counter and in the back. The glass windows at the front get fingerprints on them all day, so we are constantly wiping them down. We see a lot of office workers from the buildings on St Marks Road who just want a quick snack or something sweet. Sometimes the traffic outside gets so backed up that people just come in to wait for it to clear. We don't do much in terms of promotion; the smell of the food usually does that for us. It is a busy little unit and we are always on our feet. We just try to get through the daily rush and make sure we have enough stock for the next morning.
