About Vesa Indian Fine Arts – Housewares & Supplies in Bengaluru
We’ve been here in New Thippasandra Kurar Village for a while now. Dealing with fine arts is mostly about the small details and finding things that actually look good in a home. It’s not a fancy gallery or anything like that, just a spot where we keep the pieces we've collected over time. My brother and I usually handle the daily stuff. Most days are quiet, honestly. People stop by when they’re looking for something specific, maybe a painting or a carving that catches the eye. We don’t really do big ads or anything like that. It's more of a neighborhood thing where people know where to find us. The art we have comes from different places, but it's all stuff we personally like having around. Sometimes we spend the whole afternoon just rearranging the frames because the light hits the floor differently. It's a bit of a mess sometimes, especially when a new shipment arrives and we haven't cleared the space yet. If you're walking through the village area, you'll see the sign outside. We don't have set routines, just open the doors and see who comes in. It's mostly about the work and the artists behind it, not us. We just keep the place running and make sure everything stays in one piece. We get a lot of dust from the road, so cleaning is a never-ending job for us too. Nothing too complicated, really.
