We are set up on the first floor of Sri Nilaya, which is located over on 8th Main Road in Palace Guttahalli. It is a pretty good spot at number 14. The building is tucked away on a street that looks mostly residential, so it stays relatively quiet compared to the big main roads nearby. We spend our time sorting through new clothes and making sure we have enough stock ready for whoever comes by. The stairs leading up to our floor are a bit steep, which is a bit of a pain when we have to carry heavy boxes up and down all day. Inside the space, it is mostly just clothing racks, shelves, and a couple of old desks for doing the paperwork. We have a small window that looks out over the street, so we can usually see when the delivery guys are pulling up downstairs. Our team is just a few people, so we all know each other well and we end up helping out with whatever needs doing, whether it is cleaning or counting inventory. We often stay a little bit late to get everything sorted for the next morning. Usually, we have some tea around four in the afternoon and talk about what is going on in the neighborhood. It is a simple setup but it works for what we need to get done each day.
