Peenya is a place where people come to work hard, and we are no different. We are at number 1. It is a bit of a trek to get here if you are coming from the city center, but this is where all the making happens. The air is always a bit thick with the smell of grease and metal from the factories nearby. Our space is filled with tools and materials. It is not a clean environment, but it is where things get created. I have paint on my hands more often than not. We don't have a fancy reception or anything like that. You just walk in and you see us working. My brother and I started this in a small corner and it just grew bit by bit. We don't spend much on advertising. Most people find us by word of mouth or because they saw the sign while driving past. It is loud during the day with the machines running, so we have to shout sometimes to be heard. We stop for lunch at the same time every day and sit on the benches outside. It is a tough area but there is a lot of pride in what we do here. We just keep our heads down and focus on the task in front of us until it is finished. Sometimes we work through the weekend if there is a big order to finish. The radio is usually playing in the background but you can barely hear it.
