Sunind Art

Sunind Art is located at 246 Mathikere 1st Main. Most people know the building as Sunshine House. It’s a place where we handle a lot of different art projects. We have been here in Mathikere for a while now and the neighborhood knows us well. The shop is usually full of supplies and half-finished pieces. We do things like custom paintings and maybe some framing if that is what’s needed. It’s not a polished gallery like you see in the city center. It’s more of a working space where things actually get made. The light in the morning is pretty good for working. We spend most of our time here just trying to get things right for the people who come to see us. Sometimes it gets a bit messy with paint and brushes all over the place. We don't mind the mess though because it shows we are busy. If you are walking down 1st Main you can usually spot us. We like being part of the local scene here in Mathikere. It is a good community. We don't do much talking about what we do, we just do it. Most of our work comes from word of mouth anyway. People come in with an idea and we try to put it on canvas or whatever they need. It’s a simple setup but it works for us and the locals too. There is always something new drying in the corner.
