Stanley Boutique Furniture

Stanley Boutique Furniture is our place over at 4000/2A HAL 2nd Stage. We call it a boutique because we don't just churn out thousands of the same thing. We take our time with what we make. Our workshop is in HAL 2nd Stage, which is a nice area to work in. You can usually smell the sawdust and wood glue before you even get to our door. We aren't a big company with a huge showroom and bright lights. It’s just us and our tools. We focus on the small details that make a piece of furniture feel solid. Sometimes we get behind on our schedule because we weren't happy with how a joint looked or how the wood felt. We think it’s better to be a bit late than to give someone something that isn't right. We don't have a big office or a marketing department. If you see our furniture, it’s because a friend of yours probably has some. We like it that way. Most of us have been working with wood for years and we’ve got the scars on our hands to prove it. It’s hard work and we’re usually pretty tired by Friday, but we like seeing a finished piece go out the door. We aren't trying to change the world, we’re just trying to make some decent furniture for our neighbors here in Bangalore. It is a slow process but it works for us.
