Sri S Balaji Sweets

Our shop, Sri S Balaji Sweets, is at number 39, 4th Cross, 4th Block on Magadi Road. We’ve been here for years, making sweets every day. The kitchen is right in the back, and the smell of ghee and fried dough usually hits you before you even walk inside. It’s a small place, mostly taken up by the glass display cases where we keep the day’s batches. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know the recipes by heart. We don't use any modern machines to make the sweets. Everything is shaped by hand and cooked in big iron vats. It gets really busy during the festival season, and we often stay up late to make enough for everyone. We don't do any fancy marketing or have colorful brochures. People in the neighborhood just know we are here. The floor is made of old tiles and the ceiling fan wobbles a bit, but it gets the job done. We try to keep the prices fair so anyone can stop by for a treat. Sometimes we run out of the popular items by midday, especially on weekends. We don't have a delivery service or a website. If you want something, you have to stop by and see what we have in the case. It’s a simple life, making people happy with something sweet, and we like it that way.
