Shusheela Art Process

You can find our shop at 89 Banashankari 3rd Stage in the Dhanukar Colony. Shusheela Art Process has been doing art processing and printing here for a good while. The place is usually smelling of ink and paper. We have various machines for the different stages of the process. Some of them are quite old but they still work better than the new ones. There are stacks of paper everywhere and samples of old jobs pinned to the boards. It is a bit of a cluttered space but we know where everything is. Dhanukar Colony is a nice place to work. It feels more like a neighborhood than a business district. We have regular customers who have been coming to us for years. They just drop off their files and we get to work. We don't really do any advertising. Word of mouth has always been enough for us. Sometimes the kids from the colony come by to see the machines running. We show them how the colors get layered on the paper. It is a messy job sometimes with ink getting on our hands and clothes. We keep a sink in the back just for washing up. The lighting in the shop is a bit dim in some corners but we have bright lamps over the work tables. We just focus on getting the colors right. It is a steady job and we take it one day at a time.
