My setup is at 9 Maruthi Extension, just off Residency Road. My name is Shukoon R and I’ve been operating from this address for quite a while now. Residency Road is usually packed with cars and people, but Maruthi Extension is slightly tucked away, which is nice. It gives us a little bit of a break from the main road noise. The building at number 9 is a straightforward structure, nothing that would win any design awards. I like it that way because it keeps things low-key. I don't believe in having a flashy storefront. Most of my work is done through direct contact with people who know me. Maruthi Extension has a mix of small offices and older homes. It’s a bit of an eclectic neighborhood. I spend most of my day here, dealing with the daily grind. Sometimes the power goes out or the trash doesn't get picked up on time, but that’s just city life for you. It’s a small operation, just me and occasionally a helper if things get really busy. I don't have a fancy title or a long list of qualifications on the wall. I just do the work that needs doing. Being centrally located near Residency Road makes it easy to get anywhere else in the city, though I usually prefer staying put. It’s a honest way to make a living in a busy place, and I’m happy with how things are going here.
