Shafi Arts

We’ve been here at 542 Arabic College for a while now. It’s right across from Ratrathan Vidya Kendra, so we see the school kids and parents passing by every single day. Most people know us for the art work we do. It’s not a huge fancy studio, just a place where we get our hands dirty with paint and brushes. Sometimes the shop gets a bit messy when we have too many orders at once, but that’s just how it goes. We do a lot of different things, mostly signage and some hand-painted stuff if someone asks for it. The weather can be a bit of a pain when we’re waiting for things to dry, especially during the rainy months. We try to keep the place organized, but brushes end up in the wrong jars and sketches are piled up on the back table. Usually, one of us is out front talking to someone about a project while the other is in the back trying to finish up a frame. It’s busy but it’s okay. We’ve lived around here for years, so we know most of the neighbors. If you’re looking for the shop, just find the college and look across the road. We don't have a big neon sign or anything, just our own work. It’s a quiet enough spot until the traffic picks up in the evening. We just keep our heads down and get the work done as it comes in.
