Sekhar Arts

Sekhar Arts is located at 746 Rajaji Nagar, right on the Inner Ring Road. We are up on the 1st floor of the Gln Building. If you’ve ever driven on the Inner Ring Road, you know how busy the traffic can get, especially during the evening hours. Our windows look right out onto the street, so we see the buses and cars crawling by all day. Inside the Gln Building, it’s a bit quieter. We have a lot of art supplies, frames, and half-finished projects leaning against the walls. The smell of paint and wood is always around. We’ve been doing this for a long time and our hands are usually stained with something by the end of the day. It’s not a very big space, so we have to be careful where we step so we don’t knock anything over. The light on the first floor is good for seeing colors, which is important for what we do. We don’t have any fancy sales people. Usually, it’s just one of us coming out from the back to see what someone needs. We like the Rajaji Nagar area because it feels like a real community where people still stop to talk. We don't have a big website or a lot of advertisements. People mostly find us by seeing the sign while they are stuck in traffic or by hearing about us from a neighbor.
