Ravivarma Arts

Our place is out in Jakkur Post. It’s a bit away from the main city rush, which is actually quite nice for the kind of work we do. The air feels a little different here and it's mostly quiet, except for the occasional bird or a passing motorbike. Inside, the space at Ravivarma Arts is filled with things we’ve been working on. There are sketches pinned to the walls and half-finished pieces leaning against the tables. We don’t have much in the way of fancy furniture, just some sturdy benches and a lot of light coming through the windows. It’s not the easiest place to find if you aren't familiar with the Jakkur area, but we like it that way. We spend long hours here just focusing on the tasks at hand. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, so we just sit and wait or use the natural light while it lasts. There's a small kettle in the corner for making tea when the weather gets a bit chilly. We don't really have a set routine, we just work until the light fades or until we get tired. It’s a very practical setup, focused on the craft rather than looking good for visitors. Most of the locals know where we are if someone asks for directions to the post area. We’ve been at this spot for a long time and it feels like home to us now.
