I run my business out of number 22 in Sudham Nagar. It’s right in the Government Industrial Estate. Being in an industrial zone means there is always noise from machines and trucks moving around. That’s just how it is here. I am R Poornachandra, and I’ve been at this spot for quite a while. It’s a practical workspace, not somewhere you’d go for a fancy lunch, but it works for what we do. The industrial estate has a lot of small shops like mine. We get a lot of grease on our hands most days. It’s a lot of manual work and managing stuff coming in and out. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we are usually too busy to worry about that. Most of the people around here are other business owners or workers from the estate. We all know each other. Finding the place is easy if you know Sudham Nagar. Just look for number 22. There's usually some metal or equipment sitting outside. We don't have a big reception area, just a desk and some chairs. It’s honest work. I spend most of my time on the floor or checking orders. It’s been home for years. The traffic in the estate can be a bit much in the mornings when the big trucks arrive. But we like the grit of it. We keep things simple and just keep working. It isn't much, but it's ours.
