About project architect – Architect, Interior & Structural Design in Bengaluru
My office is a bit tucked away in B.S. Palaya, Bangalore. I operate out of the C/O Chitra Nagmuthu residence at number 14. It’s not a big glass building or anything like that. It’s a very local, neighborhood-based setup. Most of the time, I am working alone or with one assistant on various project architect duties. Being in this part of Bangalore means I see a lot of local residential construction. My desk is usually covered in site plans and municipal documents. It can be a bit overwhelming trying to keep track of all the different regulations in the city. I spend a lot of my day on the phone with contractors or driving out to check on how a wall is being built. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s what I do. People usually find me through word of mouth in the Palaya area. I’ve been at this address for a while and it suits the way I work. I don't use much in the way of high-end marketing. Most of my energy goes into making sure the blueprints are accurate and that the clients are happy with the progress. Sometimes the office gets a bit messy with all the paper, but I know where everything is. It’s a practical workspace for someone who just wants to get the job done without any extra fuss. I try to stay organized even with the piles of drawings everywhere. It is mostly just me here at the moment, but that makes it easier to keep track of every little detail for the projects I am handling.
