Priyadarshini is located in the Bda Shopping Complex, which is right near the RTO office at Marol Naka. Because of the RTO being so close, there are always people hanging around, and the Indira Nagar area stays pretty crowded. Our shop is at 18/45 inside the complex. It’s a bit of an old building, and the hallways can be a little dark sometimes. We sell a variety of things, mostly clothes and some household items that people need. It’s a bit of a jumble inside because we try to fit as much as possible into the space we have. I started working here because it was close to where I live in Chimat Pada. We see all sorts of people, from government workers to students and families living in the Ismail Chawl nearby. The mornings are usually slow, but once it hits lunchtime, it gets very busy with people browsing while they’re on their break. We don't do any big advertising or anything. People just see the sign when they’re walking to the train or the bus stop and pop in to see what we have. We try to keep the prices fair because we know most of our customers are just regular working people. Sometimes the lights flicker when the power is acting up, but we just keep going. It’s a typical neighborhood shop that’s been part of the local scene for a long while and it stays busy enough for us most days of the week even when it rains.
