Prakash Silk & Sarees

Prakash Silk & Sarees is located at 903, which is near Ranka Chambers in Magar Patta, Nagarathpet. Nagarathpet is a very busy area with a lot of narrow streets and shops everywhere. Being near Ranka Chambers helps people find us a bit more easily since it is a well-known landmark around here. We have been here for a while and we mostly deal with silk and different kinds of sarees. The shop is filled with various colors and fabrics that we keep on the shelves. It’s not a very big place, but it’s enough for what we do every day. We spend a lot of our time just managing the stock and talking to the people who wander in looking for something for a family event or just a gift. Some of them are regulars from around Nagarathpet and others are just passing through the market. The atmosphere around here is always energetic, with lots of sounds from the street coming in through the door. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just sell sarees. It is a simple life and we like the routine of it. We open up the shop, tidy up the displays, and wait for the day to start. It gets really busy during the festive seasons or wedding times, but we just take it one customer at a time and try to keep things organized. That’s how we’ve always done it here in our little spot.
