S L V Fashions

Our shop is on Kolar Road in the Malur area of Gauribidanur. S L V Fashions isn't one of those big malls you see in the city center. It is a local place where we keep a variety of clothes for men, women, and kids. We try to have things that people around here actually want to wear every day to work or school. The racks are usually pretty full and sometimes it is hard to find a specific size right away if things get moved around. We spend a lot of time folding and refolding shirts after customers look through the piles. There is a small fitting room in the back that sticks a bit when you try to close the door. We get new stock in every few weeks, so the look of the place changes quite often. Sometimes the ceiling fan makes a clicking noise, but it keeps the air moving when it gets hot. We do not have models or big posters in the windows. We just hang the clothes up on the hangers and let people decide for themselves. Most of our customers are neighbors who have been coming here for several years. We know who likes what colors and who is shopping for a special occasion like a wedding. It gets really busy during festival times and then the shop feels quite small with everyone inside. It is just a simple clothing store run by a few of us who like talking to people.
