Petal Talks

We are tucked away at 29 Blue Dart Building, right beside the HCL Building in Ulsoor. It’s an interesting spot because of all the office buildings around us. You see a lot of people in shirts and ties rushing past our window every morning. Petal Talks is a bit of a contrast to all that corporate stuff happening next door. We have buckets of color everywhere and the floor is almost always covered in green clippings. Working here means getting used to the smell of damp earth and various scents that change depending on what arrived that morning. We don't really have a big marketing plan or anything fancy. We just set out the vases and try to make things look decent for whoever happens to walk in. Sometimes people come in looking quite stressed from their jobs at HCL or nearby, and it’s nice to see them relax for a second while they pick out some stems. The space isn't huge, but it works for what we need. We spend our time cleaning the glass, cutting thorns off, and chatting with the delivery guys who are always coming and going. Ulsoor is a lively part of town and we like being in the middle of it all. It is just a regular shop where we do our best with what the season gives us. No big mystery to it, just daily work and a lot of sweeping up after ourselves.
