Movie Land Theatre

Movie Land Theatre sits right in the middle of Madhu Industrial Estate in Mogra Village. It is at number 250, and you can’t really miss the building if you are in the Gandhi Nagar area. We’ve been showing movies here for quite a while, and the place has seen a lot of changes in the neighborhood. The seats are the old-fashioned kind, not those reclining ones you see nowadays, but they are comfortable enough for a two-hour show. We spend a lot of time making sure the projector is working right and the sound isn't too muffled, though every now and then the equipment acts up a bit. The lobby is quite small, and it gets crowded quickly when a big film is playing on the screen. We sell popcorn and some drinks, but we don't have a big fancy snack bar. Most of the people who come here are workers from the nearby units or families who live just around the corner. It is a bit loud and messy sometimes, especially after a weekend show, but we do our best to sweep up the floor before the next screening starts. The walls have some old movie posters that have been there for years and have started to curl at the edges. We aren't trying to be one of those expensive multiplexes. We just provide a place where people can sit in the dark and watch a story for a while without spending too much money, and that is how we have always operated here.
