Our place is located at 69, Ashwini, on the 12th Main in Nagarbavi 2nd Stage. It is in the 9th Block. It is a residential area, so it is pretty quiet, which helps when you are trying to concentrate on a complicated roof design or a floor plan. We are just a group of people who like building things. The office has a lot of natural light, which is good because we spend all day staring at fine lines on paper and computer monitors. We have been in Bangalore long enough to see how the architecture has changed, but we try to stick to what works for the people living here. Our desks are messy, but we know where everything is. There are no corporate handbooks here. We just show up, do the work, and go home. We talk to people about what they want for their homes and try to make it happen within the space they have. It is a lot of measuring and re-measuring. Sometimes we have to tell people their idea will not work because of the way the land sits, and those are not fun conversations, but they are necessary. We are not here to sell a lifestyle; we are here to draw plans that a contractor can actually understand and build. Nagarbavi is a nice spot for us, and we plan on staying here at Ashwini for a long time. It is just honest work. (254 words)
