Meer Hassan

This is Meer Hassan’s place. We are set up at 96 Jayanagar III Block, right in the First Block area. We have been in this same spot for a long time now. The shop is on the smaller side, but it fits everything we need to get through the day. Most of the folks who live around Jayanagar know who we are by now. We deal with a variety of things as they come up. It is mostly a family-run operation. I usually get here early to open the shutters and start the day. The street outside starts getting really busy once it hits noon. You can find us pretty easily if you are looking for the building number. We don't spend money on advertising or anything like that. People just walk in when they need something done or have a question. We try to be as helpful as we can. Some days are very quiet, while other days everyone seems to show up at the exact same time. We just take it as it comes and do the work. The building itself is quite old. It has a bit of character that you don’t see in the newer places. We haven't changed much over the years because we like the way it feels. It’s like a second home to us. My father used to work this same counter. Now I am the one here managing things and talking to the regulars.
