Mayur Collection

Our shop, Mayur Collection, is located at No 2178 on Nehru Road. We are in the Gopalapuram area of Kammanahalli, near the 3rd New Cross and the St. Thomas Town Post office. It’s a pretty busy part of town with a lot of people living nearby. We spend most of our time organizing the stock and talking to the people who wander in after finishing their errands at the post office. The shop isn't very large, so we have to use every bit of wall space we have. It can get a bit cramped when more than three people are inside at once, but we make it work. We have been here for a good bit now, and we’ve seen the shops around us change names and owners many times. We just keep doing what we do. Nehru Road can be a nightmare for parking, so we usually see people walking over from the nearby houses. We don’t have fancy lighting or air conditioning, just a few tube lights and the breeze from the door. It’s a bit noisy with the bikes going past, but you get used to it. We try to keep things organized, but sometimes the deliveries come in late and boxes pile up in the corner. That’s just how it goes when you’re running a small place. We aren’t into big advertisements; we just rely on people seeing us when they go by. It is just a simple retail life for us here.
