M K Home Needs

We started this shop a few years back here at HAL 2nd Stage. It's a small place, mostly just stuff people need every day like soap and snacks. Sometimes the milk delivery is late and we have to wait around. People from the nearby houses come in all the time. We try to keep things on the shelves so nobody goes away empty-handed. My brother helps out in the evenings when it gets a bit crowded. The shop isn't fancy at all. There’s a bit of dust because of the road work nearby lately. We know most of the faces that walk in. Some neighbors just stop by to say hello even if they don't buy anything. It’s a quiet life here mostly. We don't have a huge inventory but we get the basics right. If someone asks for something we don't have, we try to get it by next week. The fridge makes a bit of noise but it keeps the drinks cold enough. Most days are the same. We open up early and close around nine. It’s just a regular local shop for regular people. We keep the books manually mostly. It works for us. Living and working in the same area makes it easier to manage things. We don't have a big sign or anything, just the name over the door. It's enough for the folks living around here. We like the routine.
