We’ve been here at Budhwar Peth for a good while now. Our spot is right in the middle of Bhori Ali Market, which stays pretty busy most days of the week. If you know the area, we are near Bhagwan Adhi Nath Chowk. It’s a 67/76 number for the shop. Usually, the mornings are spent just getting everything opened up and making sure things are where they should be. The market gets quite loud around noon, so that’s when we really start moving things along. It’s a lot of walking back and forth between the counters. We aren’t doing anything fancy here, just running the daily operations as best as we can. Some days the traffic outside makes it hard for people to get in, but we stay open regardless. We have been part of Chickpet for years, so we’ve seen how much the streets have changed over time. The shop itself is simple. We don’t have those big shiny signs you see at the malls. We mostly just focus on getting the work done and talking to the people who walk in. It gets dusty sometimes with all the construction nearby, so we spend a fair bit of time cleaning. It's just a normal workplace where we handle the day-to-day stuff. Most of us have been working together for a long time, so we just get on with it. It’s a steady pace most of the time.
