Working from 1064/D in HBR Layout has its own rhythm. I started Latha Ganesh as a way to manage things locally, and it has grown into a daily routine that keeps me on my toes. The space is simple and mostly filled with ledgers and my computer. I spend a lot of my time talking to people over the phone or meeting them right here. HBR Layout is a nice area, though the roads get messy when it rains. I don't have a big staff or a corporate setup because I prefer doing things myself. This way, I know exactly what is happening with every task. Sometimes I stay up late finishing work because the day got away from me with errands or visitors. It isn't always organized perfectly; there are piles of papers that I promise to file away every weekend. People around here know the address, so they just stop by when they need something handled. I try to be practical about how I work. If a job is going to take three days, I say it’ll take three days. There is no point in making promises I can’t keep. It’s just me here, making sure things get done one at a time. It might not look like much from the outside, but there is always something to do and someone to help.
