Kumud

Our place, Kumud, is located at 93 Bannerghatta in the S Block area of MIDC. It’s an industrial sort of neighborhood, so you’ll see plenty of trucks and vans moving around throughout the day. The building is simple and serves its purpose well. We don’t have any big signs or fancy lobbies, just a door and a place to work. Inside, it’s mostly just us handling the daily operations. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed but we stay busy with whatever needs doing. Being in MIDC means it’s more about getting the work done than looking good for visitors. Most of the staff have been here a while, so we all know how the routine goes. The commute to Bannerghatta can be slow, especially when the weather is bad or the roads are under repair, which seems to happen a lot. We have a small area where we take our breaks and maybe chat about the weekend. It’s a no-nonsense type of office. We keep the equipment in order and make sure the paperwork is sorted out. There isn't much to say about the decor because it's mostly functional. We just show up, do the hours, and head home. It's an honest day's work in a part of town that’s built for industry. We like the practicality of being in S Block. It helps that there are a few decent chai stalls just a short walk away from the gate when the afternoon gets long.
