Krishna Reddy

My office is right on Betappa Road, which most people know because it's so close to the Bangalore City H P O. It’s a busy area, especially with the post office nearby, so there’s always a lot of activity going on outside the window. I’ve been at this location for years. You get used to the noise of the city after a while. I handle a lot of different things here, mostly just helping people who walk in with their specific needs. It isn't a huge operation. It’s just me and a couple of others trying to stay on top of the daily tasks. Sometimes the internet acts up, or the power goes out for a bit, but we just keep going. That’s life in Bangalore. The building isn't brand new, but it's sturdy and serves its purpose. I usually get here early before the post office crowds start gathering. It’s easier to get some quiet work done then. People know me around here as Krishna Reddy. They just drop by when they are passing through Betappa Road. There is no formal lobby or anything, just a desk and some chairs where we can sit and talk. We don't have a big sign out front either, just enough so people don't get lost. It's a practical setup. Most days involve a lot of phone calls and checking documents. It keeps us on our toes. Sometimes we have tea brought in from the vendor across the street. It’s the little things that make the workday better. We just try to get the work done without making a fuss about it.
