Kitchen Boutique

We set up Kitchen Boutique in the Koramangala area on the 3rd Main Road in Arekempanahalli. It is a fairly quiet street compared to the big main roads you find nearby. We have a small showroom here where we put out some of the cabinets and countertops we work with. The space isn’t huge, but it gives people a decent idea of what can be done with a kitchen. Most of the time, we are out at different houses measuring walls or talking to the carpenters about the assembly. Designing a kitchen involves a lot of work and there are always little things that go wrong, like a door that does not swing right or a handle that is a bit crooked. We just try to handle those things as they come up. We started this business because we like the way a good kitchen feels when it is finally finished. It is the one place in the house where everyone ends up anyway. Our office has a few samples of stone and wood scattered on the desks. It is usually a bit messy, but that is because we are always looking at new materials. We do not have a big sales pitch. We just show you what we have and tell you what it will cost. Koramangala is a nice place. We have been here at Padmalaya for a while now and we know the local rhythms. It is a bit of a struggle sometimes when the supplies are late, but we make it work. Most of our clients are just people from around the neighborhood.
