Jr.Architect

We are tucked away in Thimmaiah Garden, over in the R.T. Nagar area of Bangalore. The name Jr.Architect sounds a bit funny to some, but it is just who we are. Our office at number 32 is a small, busy place. We do not have any of those expensive coffee machines or designer furniture. It is just desks, computers, and a lot of paper. Most of our work is for neighbors and local businesses who need help with their building plans. Bangalore is growing so fast, and we try to help people keep up with it. We handle everything from small room additions to new houses. It is not always easy because the rules change and the plots are often quite tight. We spend a lot of time measuring things twice and trying to find ways to get more light into small spaces. We are not trying to be the biggest firm in the city. We like being a small team where everyone knows what is going on with every project. You might find us sitting around the main table eating lunch together most days. We do not really do big advertising; people usually just find us by walking past or hearing about us from someone in the neighborhood. It is a very hands-on job, and we are often out checking on sites in the afternoon heat. It is simple, honest work that keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Sometimes we work Sundays too if a project is behind.
