Jayroop

Our spot is right on Sir M V Road in Yelahanka, number 47 to be exact. We are very close to Neha Prakash Hospital, which is how most people find us if they get lost. Jayroop has been part of this street for a long time now. The road gets quite a lot of foot traffic because of the hospital and the shops nearby. we see people from all walks of life passing by our window. Inside, it’s just a normal workspace. We don’t have fancy art on the walls or a receptionist to greet you. Usually, you just walk in and talk to whoever is behind the counter. We do our work, talk to the customers, and keep an eye on the clock for lunch. Yelahanka has grown so much since we first opened, with more buildings and more noise every year. Sometimes it feels a bit crowded, but it’s home for the business. We have a routine that we stick to, starting with opening up the shutters and dusting off the desks. It isn't a glamorous life, but it keeps us busy and pays the bills. We know the other shop owners on Sir M V Road, and we usually look out for each other. If there’s a power cut, we all end up standing outside talking until it comes back on. That’s just how it is here, nothing too complicated or fancy for us. We just take things one day at a time.
