Om Collection

We are located over in Jayanagar 9th Block, specifically on 45th Cross. It is a nice part of Bangalore, though the traffic on the main roads can be a real headache some days. Our shop isn't anything too big, just a regular place where we keep our collection of items. I usually start the day by sweeping the front step and getting the lights turned on before anyone arrives. The neighbors around here are very friendly, and we often chat for a bit while I am setting things up for the afternoon. I spend a lot of time rearranging the racks because I like things to look decent, even if we are not a high-end department store. Some of the shelves are a bit wobbly, but they hold up the stock okay. People from the block come in just to see what is new or to escape the hot sun for a few minutes. I try to keep a variety of things so there is something for everyone who stops by. It is just me and one other person working here most of the time. We do not have any big corporate rules or anything; we just do what needs to be done. By the time evening rolls around, the street gets quite lively with people coming home from work. I usually stay open until about eight or nine, depending on how many people are still walking around 45th Cross. It’s a good spot.
