Hitendra Silk & Sarees

Our shop, Hitendra Silk & Sarees, is tucked away at 41558 in B S Market. We are right on Jumma Masjid Road, which is part of the whole Avenue Road area. If you’ve ever been to Avenue Road, you know how packed it gets with people and carts moving all the time. Being in B S Market means we are right in the middle of all that action. We mostly deal with silks and sarees, and the shop is usually stacked high with them. It can be a bit hard to find us if you aren't looking closely at the numbers on the street, but once you’re inside, it’s just a normal shop. We spend a lot of time organizing the stacks because things get messy quickly when customers are looking through them. Jumma Masjid Road has its own rhythm, and we’ve become part of that over the years. We don’t have a big corporate office or anything like that. It’s just a counter, some shelves, and us. We try to keep things simple. Some days are long, especially when the weather is hot and the street is crowded. But we just keep showing sarees and helping people find what they need for their homes. It’s a straightforward business and we don’t try to make it seem like more than it is. Just a shop in a busy market trying to get through the day.
