Flora Delic

You can find Flora Delic right on the ground floor at A-1 on Vittal Mallya Road. We’re tucked in near the Collection at UB City. It's a high-traffic area, so there’s always something going on outside our windows. The shop itself isn't huge, but we pack a lot into the space we have. We spend a lot of time arranging different types of flora and making sure everything looks okay. It’s not always easy keeping things tidy when you’re dealing with soil and water every hour. There’s a bit of a chill in the air inside because of the cooling units we need for the plants. Working near UB City means we see a lot of people passing by on their way to lunch or shopping. We've got a routine down now, starting early to catch the morning deliveries. The floor is tile, which makes it easier to mop up after we finish a big batch of orders. We have a small desk in the corner where we keep the ledger and the phone. It rings more than you'd think. We don't use a lot of fancy equipment, just sharp scissors and some good twine. It’s honest work and we like being in this part of town. Sometimes the city noise gets loud, but inside it’s mostly just the sound of water running or the snip of the shears. It's just what we do every day to keep things moving.
