About Fine Arts Classes – Art & Craft in Bengaluru
Fine Arts Classes are held at Marathahalli Colony, specifically inside the Gidc Estate at unit 415. It’s an interesting place for an art school because the Gidc Estate is mostly industrial. You see a lot of trucks and workshops around here. But once you get to 415, it’s a different world. There are canvases leaned up against the walls and the smell of paint is everywhere. It’s not a pristine gallery; there are paint spills on the floor and charcoal dust on the tables. The Marathahalli area is always buzzing with people, so there’s plenty of energy. We have different groups coming in at different times. Some are kids who just want to draw, and others are older folks looking for a hobby. The light in the studio is okay, though we have to use some lamps when the sun goes down. There’s a sink in the corner that’s always stained with different colors. We don't have fancy furniture, just sturdy tables and stools that can take a bit of a mess. It’s a working space where people actually create things. Sometimes it gets a bit loud because of the nearby businesses, but once you start painting, you don't really notice it. The Gidc Estate is easy to find, and 415 is just one of many units in the row. It’s just a simple place for people who like to make art. I usually keep a jar of brushes soaking in the back by the window.
