Our place is on the service road in HAL 2nd Stage, Indiranagar. We are quite close to ESI Hospital, which is a big landmark around here. Being on the service road makes it a little easier for people to pull over, though parking is still a bit of a puzzle sometimes. We have been in this spot for quite a while now. The building is No 3167, and you can’t really miss it if you’re driving toward the hospital. It’s a bit different from the flashy gyms on the main roads. We have a mix of people coming in, from young folks to some of the retirees who live in the quiet lanes behind us. The atmosphere is pretty low-key. We don’t have big speakers blasting music all day, just enough to keep the energy up. Sometimes the rain leaks in a little near the front door when we get those big Bangalore storms, but we just mop it up and keep going. The equipment is older but it still does the job perfectly fine. We focus more on the people who come in than having the newest gadgets. It feels like a part of the neighborhood, and we like it that way. Most of the staff has been here for years, so we know everyone’s name and their usual routine. It’s a comfortable enough space to get some exercise and then head back home.
