This Fabindia branch is over at 001 Green Avenue, which is right on 77 Mosque Road in Frazer Town. If you know Bangalore, then you know that Frazer Town has its own very specific vibe. It is busy and loud but also has these nice little pockets of greenery here and there. Our place is on the ground floor, which makes it very easy to get in and out of the building. We have got a lot of stuff going on inside. It isn't a huge space, so we have to be pretty careful about how we stack all our materials. Sometimes the boxes pile up near the back door when a new delivery comes in. It is just a handful of us working here on a daily basis. We spend most of our time answering emails or checking on the stock in the back. It isn't a glamorous job, but it keeps us busy and the days go by fast. The area around Mosque Road can get very loud during the holidays or when there is a lot of traffic, but we have all gotten used to it by now. We have a small corner where we keep the kettle for making tea. It is a pretty simple setup without any of that corporate polish. We just focus on what needs to be done that day. The building itself is an older one and it has some quirks, like the lights that flicker once in a while. We don't mind. It’s home for us in Bangalore 560005.
