You can find Edifice Architects Pvt Ltd over in J.P. Nagar 7th Phase in Bangalore. We are in the Glacier Block of the Brigade Gardenia complex, specifically Flat No 604. It is a residential area, so it stays a bit quieter than the main roads. Looking out from the sixth floor, you get a decent view of the neighborhood. The office is really just a converted living space where we have set up our workstations. There are cables running along the floor and stacks of books on the shelves. Bangalore weather usually makes it nice to keep the windows open, though the dust can be a bit much sometimes. We spend a lot of time on our chairs, clicking away and talking about where the plumbing lines should go. It is a regular job. We don’t have a big sign outside or a lobby. People usually call us first before heading up the elevator. We have our coffee together in the small kitchen area. Sometimes we argue about a particular corner of a building or how much sunlight a room will get. It’s just us doing what we know how to do. The 7th Phase has grown a lot since we first started here. We have seen new buildings go up all around us while we sit here and plan out more of them. It’s a steady kind of life that we have built here.
