Design Walk

Design Walk is located at 1830 Fadake Houd Chowak, right in Jayanagar 9th Block. It’s a nice part of town, and we like being here among the other shops. We mostly deal with designs, whether it's for clothes or just general stuff people want to customize for themselves. The shop isn't very large, so it can feel a bit crowded when we have a few customers in at the same time. We have rolls of fabric and sketches lying around on the counters most days. I try to keep it neat, but when you're working on something, things just get messy very quickly. We’ve been in this spot for a bit, and we’ve gotten to know the other shopkeepers around the chowak. We usually have some tea together in the afternoons when things slow down. It’s a steady pace, not too fast but there is always something to do. People come in with an idea, and we try to figure out if we can make it happen for them with what we have. We don’t use any high-tech systems, just some notebooks and our hands to get the job done. Sometimes the rain leaks in a bit near the front door, so we have to put a bucket out, but that’s just the building showing its age. It’s a quiet life, mostly, and we enjoy the creative side of it. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop.
