Dairy Dew Ice Creams

Dairy Dew Ice Creams is our shop at 106 Nehrunagar Circle in Venkateshpura. We’ve been serving scoops here for quite some time now. It’s a small shop, mostly taken up by the big freezer units we need to keep everything cold. Sometimes the power goes out in the neighborhood and we have to rush to get the backup generator started so nothing melts. That’s always a bit of a panic. We have a few different flavors, nothing too crazy, just the stuff people usually like. Kids from the local school come by in the afternoons and the place gets pretty loud for an hour or two. I usually stand behind the counter and scoop while my sister handles the till. We don't have a big marketing plan or a fancy logo. We just put a sign out front so people know we have ice cream. The tiles on the floor are a bit old and one of them is cracked near the entrance, but we haven't got around to fixing it yet. Nehrunagar Circle is a busy junction, so there is always a lot of dust, meaning we spend a lot of time wiping down the glass tops of the freezers. We don't try to be anything special, just a place where you can get a cold treat on a hot day. It’s a simple business and we like it that way. We stay open until the street gets quiet at night and then we clean up.
