Chithara

Chithara is based in BEML Layout, which is part of Rajeshwari Nagar. It’s a bit more relaxed here than the center of Bangalore. We’ve got our setup in a quiet spot where there are more trees than high-rise buildings. We’ve been around for a few years, just doing our work and keeping things simple. The name Chithara is what we go by. The office isn't very large, but we have enough space for the few of us who are here every day. We don't really do much in terms of advertising or anything like that; people mostly just hear about us from someone else. The layout is nice for a walk during lunch if it’s not too hot outside. We have a lot of paperwork and some local projects that keep us occupied. It’s a straightforward kind of place. We don't have any corporate protocols or fancy dress codes. Most days it’s just jeans and a shirt. We drink tea twice a day and talk about the news or the local traffic. It’s a good community to be a part of. Sometimes we have neighbors stop by just to say hello. We like being in this part of town because it feels more like a neighborhood than just a commercial zone. We just keep doing what we do and that seems to work out fine for everyone involved. We stay open until the evening most days.
