Black Chalk.

Black Chalk. operates out of an apartment in Hoysala Nagar, specifically 1104 Lotus Block at Oceanus Greendale. It’s not your typical storefront or office building. It’s a quiet place where we do our work. There are a lot of plants on the balcony and the sunlight comes in nicely during the morning. We have a few desks pushed against the walls. Usually, it’s just the sound of keyboards clicking and the hum of the fridge in the kitchen. Being in an apartment complex means we don't get random walk-ins, which helps us focus. We spend our time on projects that require a lot of thinking. Sometimes we get stuck on an idea and just walk around the block for a bit. The neighbors probably think we’re just another family living here, but inside we’re busy with all sorts of tasks. We keep our coffee mugs on our desks until they’re empty and then forget to wash them until the end of the day. It’s a relaxed environment, but the work gets done. Hoysala Nagar is a decent area, away from the worst of the city noise. We chose this spot because it felt more like a home than a cold office. There’s no big sign outside. You just have to know which floor to go to. It’s a simple setup for a small team that likes to stay out of the spotlight and just do their daily thing.
