Tan Shoes

You can find Tan Shoes at No. 34 Southend Road. It’s a pretty well-known street in this part of town. The building is nothing fancy, just a solid place where we get our work done. We spend most of our days surrounded by boxes and different kinds of footwear. It’s a lot of physical work, moving stock around and making sure the displays aren't a total mess. We aren't a big chain with hundreds of locations. We’re just this one spot on Southend Road. The neighborhood has changed a lot over the years, but we’re still here doing the same thing. Some of the floorboards creak a little when you walk on them. We don't have a fancy website or a PR person. If someone wants to know about us, they usually just walk in and ask. We have a couple of chairs for people to sit down, though they’re usually occupied by bags or boxes. It’s a bit cramped sometimes, especially when a new shipment arrives. We try to keep things organized, but it’s a constant battle. The staff here has been around for a while, so we know each other's habits. We just show up, open the doors, and see what the day brings. It’s a simple life running a shoe place in a busy city. There’s always dust to clean and shoes to sort, but it’s our daily routine and we are used to it by now.
