Alnoor Designer & Exporter

Our place is in the Golden Plaza on Ibrahim Street. It’s a decent building, though the elevator is a bit slow sometimes so we usually just take the stairs. Alnoor Designer & Exporter is what we go by. We do a lot of different things here, from looking at designs to figuring out how to ship them out. The office is usually full of sketches and fabric samples. It can look a bit chaotic to an outsider, but there is a system to it all. Ibrahim Street is a good location because it’s central to a lot of other businesses we work with. We spend a lot of time on the phone or sitting at the big table in the center of the room. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do the work that comes our way. The lighting in the Golden Plaza is okay, but we added a few extra lamps so we can see the details better. On Saturdays, it’s a bit quieter, which is nice for catching up on the paperwork. Most of the people working here have been with us for a long time. We know each other’s families and what’s going on in the neighborhood. It’s more like a small community than a corporate office. We just try to get the orders ready on time so the exporters don’t have to wait. It’s a lot of back and forth, but we are used to the pace by now. We usually keep some snacks in the drawer for when the afternoon hunger hits.
