Svm School

Svm School is located on the Main Road in the 7th Ward of Emmiganur. If you know Bellary, you know it gets quite hot here, and our school building definitely feels it in the afternoons. We are right on the street, so there is always something going on outside the gate. It’s a simple place with a few blocks of rooms. The walls are painted a light color, but they get scuffed up pretty quickly by the kids' bags and elbows. We have a mix of students from the local neighborhood in Emmiganoor. The 583113 area is a working-class place, and the parents here are mostly concerned with their kids getting through their exams. We spend our mornings checking uniforms and making sure everyone has their hair combed properly. The staff room is small and usually smells like coffee and old paper. We don’t have much in the way of decoration, maybe a few charts the kids made hanging on the walls. The bells are rung manually, and everyone knows that sound across the whole ward. On rainy days, the Main Road gets a bit messy, and we have to remind the students to wipe their feet so they don't trail mud into the classrooms. It’s a straightforward, local school where we just try to keep the kids focused on their lessons and out of trouble. It's a lot of work every single day, but that’s just how it is in this line of work.
